Jan 10th, 2021: I have no idea what took me so long, but I finally ran this trail. It was perfect winter morning (in that the weather was very mild). (

Jan 10th, 2021: Sections of this trail are absolutely lovely. Lots of trees, moss, and ferns, and it was very quiet and peaceful. (

Jan 10th, 2021: There was the ocassional mountain view that opened up over the river valley. (

Jan 10th, 2021: Much to my surprise, I even saw some blue sky (this was shortlived). (

Jan 10th, 2021: The trail touches up against the Snoqulamie Middle Fork River a handful of times as you get further along. (

Jan 10th, 2021: All I could think was: I need to get my kids here, with tubes, so we can float back to the bridge over the Taylor River. (

Jan 10th, 2021: This is where I stopped, and the photo doesn't do it justice. The trail here was beautiful. (

Jan 22nd, 2021: Hooray! We ran to the massive landslide off of the Snoqualmie Middle Fork trail and did some exploring. (

Jan 22nd, 2021: It was a beautiful morning, the sun was shining. (

Jan 22nd, 2021: Check out this tree. Half of it's root system is hanging in mid-air. It's on the edge of where the shelf collapsed in the landslide. (

Jan 22nd, 2021: Alina did great for a 1st run. She did walk for a bit a couple of times but that's totally expected. (
